When an issue is assigned to a group, the plugin automatically picks the next team member using round-robin rotation — ranked by activity, so work spreads fairly without manual triage.
Each new issue goes to the next member in rotation, then wraps around — evenly, automatically.
Members are ranked by total activity in the project, so rotation starts from the most active.
Enable round-robin per group with a single checkbox on the group's General tab — no roles to configure.
Works the moment a customer assigns an issue to a group. Nothing else to set up.
When a user creates an issue assigned to a Group, the plugin finds the group, ranks its members by total activity in the project (most active first), picks the next user in rotation, and assigns the issue to them. Activity ranking is recalculated every time a new issue is created.
Issues cycle through the ranked members in order and wrap back to the top. If a user leaves the group, rotation restarts from the most active remaining member — so the sequence stays balanced even as teams change.
The plugin adds a Round Robin Auto-Assignment checkbox directly on each group's General tab. Turn on "Allow assignment to groups" in Issue Tracking settings, tick the box on the groups you want, and you're done — no role or permission configuration needed.
